LUZERNE COUNTY ADMINISTRATION TO HOST SPECIAL TOWN HALL MEETING ON INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS

Wilkes-Barre- Luzerne County Manager Romilda Crocamo today announced a Special Town Hall Meeting to be held for residents of Luzerne County to review the Administration’s infrastructure progress, including road and bridge projects, and to share plans for projects that will be completed in the coming year.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, June 18th at 5:30pm at the Luzerne County Operations Building located at 1199 Wyoming Ave. in Wyoming.

The Town Hall will provide a comprehensive look at what the Administration has accomplished on behalf of county residents and what work lies ahead.

“The people of Luzerne County have spoken, and we have listened,” said County Manager Crocamo. “Residents want a county government that shows up, not just at election time, but every day, out in the field, fixing roads, repairing bridges, and making the investments that improve quality of life. That is exactly what this Administration is doing, and this Town Hall is our opportunity to show our work.”

At the meeting, the Administration will present:
• A review of completed road and bridge projects undertaken over the past year, including project locations, scope of work, and outcomes for residents
• A look ahead at planned infrastructure investments scheduled for the coming year, including projects currently in design, permitting, or procurement phases
• An open forum for residents to ask questions and share their priorities directly with county leadership

“This Administration doesn’t talk the talk — we walk the walk,” County Manager Crocamo added. “We are not here to make promises. We are here to show results and to be honest with the public about what we have done, what we are doing, and what we intend to do next. The people of this county deserve nothing less.”

Luzerne County residents, community stakeholders, and members of the media are encouraged to attend.
