Bass Middle School is incredibly proud to celebrate Tatum for earning 1st Place at the State Level in the VFW Illustrating America Art Contest! This remarkable accomplishment reflects not only artistic talent and creativity, but also dedication and hard work.Your artwork has inspired others and showcased the power of visual storytelling.

Tatum had previously won 1st place at both the School and County level and her artwork now moves forward to represent VFW Post 2667 Newnan, Georgia at the National VFW Illustrating America Art Competition in August. We look forward to seeing all that you accomplish in the future!

🎉 Congratulations to Dr. Cindy Bennett on being named the Coweta County School System Principal of the Year for the 2025-2026 school year! 🎉

Dr. Bennett was recognized at the Coweta County School System Administrative Workshop for her outstanding leadership, unwavering dedication to students, and commitment to excellence in education.

Since opening Blake Bass Middle School in 2021, Dr. Bennett has worked tirelessly to build a culture where students and staff thrive, always keeping student success at the center of every decision. Her passion for education, vision for continuous improvement, and commitment to developing future leaders have helped make BMS a special place for students, staff, and families.

We would also like to thank our incredible teachers, staff, students, parents, and community partners. This recognition reflects the collective effort of everyone who makes Blake Bass Middle School such an exceptional school. Together, we continue to achieve great things for our students and our community.

What an incredible school year it has been at Blake Bass Middle School! This past week, we celebrated our students’ hard work, growth, leadership, and accomplishments during our End-of-Year Awards Programs. We are so proud of the dedication our Bulldogs have shown both inside and outside the classroom this year. Thank you to our teachers, staff, families, and community for supporting our students every step of the way. Congratulations to all of our students on a successful school year, and thank you for being Bulldog BOLD! We Are Building Outstanding Leaders Daily!

Today was a very special day at the Dawg House as we welcomed back our very first class of seniors for our Senior Walk! ❤️🐾

Our hearts are full as we celebrate these incredible students who helped build the foundation and traditions of Bass Middle School. Watching them walk our halls one more time reminded us just how proud we are of all they have accomplished and the bright futures ahead of them.

Thank you for coming back to inspire our current Bulldogs and for leaving a lasting legacy at BMS. Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog! We are so very proud of each of you and cannot wait to see all that you accomplish in the future.

What an amazing time celebrating our Bulldogs during our GMAS Basket Giveaway! Our students did a fantastic job staying focused throughout testing and showing all they have learned this school year and we celebrated BIG. It was so much fun watching students and teachers celebrate one another and seeing the excitement as names were drawn throughout the event! Thank you to everyone who donated baskets and items to help make this such a special and memorable experience for our students and staff. Your generosity and support helped us celebrate our Bulldogs in a BIG way!
We were also treated to incredible performances by our Jazz Band and 8th Grade Wind Ensemble, including some outstanding solos from our talented 8th grade students.
