Hey everyone, I have located the popcord sheets and will have someone hand them out at the beginning of the parade tonight. With that said, I need a couple of parents to volunteer to walk with the kids as I have other obligations for work. We would be meeting at our regular lineup spot in front of Katie Peterson's house. I believe line up starts at 5:00 so lets plan on meeting there at about 4:50. I can pick up a few bags of candy for everyone to hand out but the more we have the better. Please comment below if you are able to fill in as adult supervisor for the parade tonight.

Community service is a major component of scouting. This year the Lanark Pack 61 Cub Scouts were fortunate enough to be able to donate the proceeds of the Raging Road Rally race to the Libby Thulen family. I cannot think of any better way to teach the boys to give back then to show them a real life need. Thanks to all who contributed to the race this year. Your donation is being put to an amazing use.

Hello fellow scouts. I'm sure some of you are aware of the holiday weekend ahead of us. With that said, if anyone is available to help with placing flags on gravesites the VFW would be very appreciative of those extra bodies. So, if you're available and would like to help a noble cause, meet in the Lanark Cemetary at 3:00 PM. I will not be able to attend due to other obligations but Lamoille Poffenberg would be delighted to let you know what needs to be done. Thanks to all of you!

I have enjoyed my time as Pack 61 scout leader and have been fortunate to have excellent partners and parents to work with! I am happy to say that Kyle Simons will be taking over as Pack 61 Leader (since Harper is moving up) Kyle is an Eagle Scout and is amazing with kids so he is definately the perfect person for the job!!! Thanks for gifting me with your sons for the past 4 years!
