As Telecommunicator Week winds down, we'd like to give a big thank you to Ryan Burlesci, owner of Hometown Pizza Adamsville, for providing food for today's shifts. We almost forgot to to give a shout out and thank you to Nelson Systems and Rocky Harben with Globe life for providing lunch this week also. We were truly taken care of all week. Today, the ice cream bar was set up to finish out the celebrations. We are so thankful and blessed for all the love and support shown to us this week. It has not been easy, after the loss of one of our own last month. Our team needed some good cheer and healing, and we've been very fortunate to have just that, this week. Today's theme, hat day.

Another big day for our crew. Today we were spoiled with lunch from McNairy County Fire Department Chief Tapp, a beautiful cake from Cash Express. Thank you both so much for treating us today. We ended the day with a tailgate party with our families. A huge thanks to Food Giant and RJ's Stantonville for providing our food for the cookout, and thank you to Alli Taylor and Rachel Devine for filling in, so everyone could attend the party.

We are very sad to report the loss of one of our telecommunicators. Lindsay Turnbow Presley began working for McNairy 911 on August 22, 2022 and worked her final shift on March 14, 2026. Lindsay has answered countless calls and helped countless people in her career. She was calm, dependable, hard-working, and a dedicated public servant. Lindsay's laugh was contagious. When she laughed, we all laughed. Thank you for the calls, texts, and prayers as we navigate the loss of our beloved friend. Please keep her husband Stacy, and their children in your thoughts and prayers.
Gone from the console, but never from our hearts.
Lindsay Presley 05/28/1985 - 03/16/2026.
