Pct 4 staff were working in the Pct 7 area, mowing and maintaining the newly constructed detention pond located off Business 77 and Wood St. in Raymondville. Maintaining the detention pond is important to ensure proper water flow and effective stormwater detention for the area. This detention pond is part of Texas Water Development Board Project 40048.

There are 2 more detention pond projects for stormwater detention that are pending approval - one is pending approval from the Texas Water Development Board and the second from the Texas General Land Office. These 2 detention pond projects are in the Sebastian area.
