Longfellow Creek Nature Trail

Longfellow Creek Nature Trail Public rural and urban wildlife walking trail following Longfellow Creek in West Seattle. King County, Washington State.

Everyone is invited to explore and enjoy this beautiful nature trail. Feel free to post photos and stories of what plants and wildlife you encountered. We have periodic volunteer opportunities to remove litter and non-native invasive plants from the stream to keep it safe for salmon, birds, wildlife, and people. The trail begins at Roxbury bog, just South of Westwood Town Center. Trail signs mark

where the trail crosses through neighborhoods. The trail connects a series of other little parcels of public land and rights of way. Part of the creek runs through Camp Long, a Seattle City Park. Creation of this trail was through the work of many volunteers, nonprofits, and government agencies.
