OUR PURPOSE:: churchMXR is committed to bringing young adults from different churches together by creating fun and safe social environments for community and relationships to happen. THE STORY:: It all began when two different guys from two different churches sat down one afternoon over a John Howie Steak happy hour burger and beer and asked themselves the question, "How can we bring young adults and churches together?" What began as simply an idea, became a reality on Saturday, May 15, 2010 when over 200+ young adults from churches all across Bellevue and Seattle converged at The Bravern for the first ever "All-Church Happy Hour Mixer." YOUR churchMXR HOSTS:: NELSON YONG :: Nelson is immensely passionate about bringing people together, especially other Christians, in a fun and safe atmosphere. His background has been in building investor relations in the Seattle startup scene and is currently working on a stealth startup companies himself. He is especially passionate about creating avenues where Christians can gather together and build relationships across churches and denominations for the sake of unifying the greater Church.
