Centrifuge Ride Casino Pier

Centrifuge Ride Casino Pier Centrifuge was a ride on the Casino Pier in Seaside Heights, NJ. The Centrifuge was something different and I never seen anything like it.

Years ago it served its purpose as a normal, every day Scrambler ride, until somebody came up with the awesome idea to paint it black and put up walls around it, encasing it in darkness. It used to be called Poltergeist back in the early 90's, changed recently to the Centrifuge near 2008. You walk inside and wait in a dim, black light lit area until the ride is ready for you, and then once inside

you find yourself surrounded by amps, giant sub-woofers, strobe lights, disco beams, and loud music. Due to the recent storm, Hurricane Sandy, Centrifuge has been laid to rest, having collapsed with the pier into the Atlantic ocean, and its remains washed up on the beach nearby. The management of the amusement pier say they will bring this pier back bigger and better, so lets hope for another Centrifuge! Like this page if you know of Centrifuge and/or Poltergeist or if you have ridden it in the past and loved it! Lets show them we love this ride enough for it to be brought back!
