On December 10th, the residents of the North Massapequa Fire District will have the opportunity to elect 2 new Fire Commissioners as there is a 4 year term and a 5 year term.

Ralph Raymond will be running unopposed for a 5 year term.

I will be running for the 4 year term that’s was my late father’s term. I believe my experience as an Ex-Captain and current lieutenant as well as 22 years as a firefighter qualifies me for the position.

I also hold a leadership role within the community as President of the Albany Avenue PTA.

I feel strongly that my life experiences will help the North Massapequa District continue to provide quality fire protection to this community, help protect our volunteer firefighters and fire medics all while being fiscally responsible to our taxpayers.

Many of you are aware of the devastating wildfires in Orange County, prompting us to support our northern neighbors. We collaborated with Ellenville FD, gaining invaluable experience. Working alongside Ranger Martin and acquiring new knowledge has had a lasting impact. We are praying for much-needed rain.
