National Vietnam War Veterans Day is observed annually on March 29 in the United States to honor the 9 million Americans who served during the Vietnam War era (1955–1975). Established formally in 2017, this day provides a "Welcome Home" to veterans who were often not honored upon their return. It is a day to recognize their service, sacrifice, and the 58,000+ lives lost.

NHN was honored to once again provide 100's of bottles of water in support of the City of Scottsdale's salute to our Vietnam Veterans on March 29th.

Clair Steiner, NAVY veteran who did 3 tours in Vietnam. NHN has been fortunate enough to get to know Clair over the past several years through his support and attendance at veteran's celebrations across the valley. He loves bringing his car to events and as a tribute, he invites all veterans in attendance to sign his car.

NHN became aware of Clair's battle with cancer and also learned that he was well down on the list for a seat on an honor flight. With some urgency, NHN stepped in and sponsored Clair's seat and he was honored on a recent to flight to DC. SUPER COOL! The NHN float at the recent Prada del Sol Parade, won an award as the most patriotic! Credit goes to the city employees who decorated the float on our behalf. :)

Another ramp completed and another neighbor empowered ❤️
Yesterday NHN members came together to build a wheelchair ramp, giving a member of our community safe and reliable access to their home. What may seem like lumber and screws is really independence, dignity, and connection to the outside world.
