Advocacy Resource Center staff spent time alongside Tribal leadership and Tribal parters this week attending the first annual MMIP Summit.

It was a meaningful couple of days filled with learning, education, information sharing, and networking—all centered around collaboration, connection, and strengthening our collective efforts to support Native communities and address Missing and Murdered Indigenous People (MMIP).

We are grateful for the opportunity to learn alongside our Tribal partners and to continue building relationships that help move this important work forward.

Good work to all those involved in the investigative and prosecutorial process. We appreciate the federal government taking this case forward and seeing it through.

This commitment impacts not only the survivors of this case, but our community as a whole. We recognize the importance of accountability and of seeing justice carried through for those who have been impacted.

Most importantly, we wish those who've been affected continued safety, strength, and healing as they move forward.
