Introducing our Summer 2026 Field Crew!

Lauren is pursuing her master’s degree of Fisheries and Wildlife from LSSU. With UPRCD this summer, she is excited to plant grasses for sharp-tailed grouse habitat enhancement, and to hopefully see a sharp-tail up close in the field. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and exploring nature.

Janelle recently graduated with a bachelors in Wildlife management She is excited to perform invasive weevil surveys. In her free time she enjoys reading and spending time with her best friend at the beach!

Zack is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Conservation Biology with a certificate in GIS. He is most excited to complete the secretive marsh bird surveys and to see the focal species. In his free time he enjoys being outdoors, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Ryan is a Fish and Wildlife Management Major with a minor in GIS going into his senior year. He is going on his third summer with UPRCD and is excited to perform the evaluation surveys on our 2024 warm-season grass plantings for our Sharp-tailed Grouse habitat enhancement project. In his free-time, Ryan likes to spend time outside, woodworking, and cooking.
