I saw the Governor is asking New Yorkers for ideas to “cut red tape.”

Here’s my question: after years of one-party control in Albany, will anything actually change?

New York is too expensive. Too regulated. Too hostile to small business.

We don’t need another portal, we need real reform:
No tax on tips.
No tax on overtime.
Credit businesses for sales tax processing fees.
Make agencies like the Labor Department partners, not punishers.

It’s time to stop talking about cutting red tape and actually do it.

Allen’s March Madness Kickoff Tour

We’re hitting the road across Assembly District 113 this March for a series of meet-and-greet kickoff events and we’re calling it “Allen’s March Madness Kickoff.”

Think momentum.
Think friendly competition between towns.
Think building energy across the entire district.

Here’s the schedule:

• March 5 – Glens Falls
• March 11 – Mechanicville / Stillwater
• March 13 – Greenwich
• March 18 – Hudson Falls / Fort Edward
• March 19 – South Glens Falls / Wilton / Moreau / Northumberland
• March 25 – Malta / Round Lake
• March 26 – Schuylerville / Victory / Town of Saratoga
• March 31 – Saratoga Springs

These will be casual, one-hour meet-and-greets open to everyone. A chance to connect, talk about affordability, public safety, and supporting our local communities.

More details coming soon, but mark your calendars now.
