Freestone Peach sells a unique product called MiniPLOTs, designed for math students and teachers.
MiniPLOTs are 3" x 3" pads of paper with 50 sheets per pad and a wide
range of graphs for various math and science disciplines printed on them. The back of each sheet has a special
releasable adhesive positioned along the left and right sides that makes MiniPLOTs stick flat.
MiniPLOTs save time and tedium for math students and teachers when they're graphing equations in algebra, trigonometry, calculus or statistics. TEACHERS:
Use a MiniPLOT when you're creating your test master copy. Simply use a word processor to create the question, usually 4 questions to a page. Leave a space at the end of each question just slightly larger than 3" x 3" for the MiniPLOT. Photocopy the page and place the MiniPLOT design you need for that question. Do the same for the back of an 8.5" x 11" page and photocopy times the number of students in your class.
Use a MiniPLOT when you're walking around your class or sitting at your desk to answer a students graphing question. It will save you the time and tedium of drawing the graphs you need by hand for the student and give you a quick and very accurate graph by using a sheet of MiniPLOT releasable adhesive graphing paper.
Save yourself the time and tedium of drawing a graph when you're correcting a students homework. If the student answered the question incorrectly, stick a MiniPLOT next to their answer. This makes a very affective teaching tool since the student can compare the way they answered the question and the correct method shown with the MiniPLOT.
