Let’s look at five unchanging principals that build upon one another that will change culture and always generate success and prosperity in
any organization or CAMPAIGN:
First Principal: A kingdom divided shall not stand, but a kingdom united always overcomes. Said another way, a team divided shall not
succeed, while a team united is enduring and successful. Be aware that every moment in our JOUNEY has the potential of being a defining
moment – a moment of change, a paradigm shift. In fact, we are experiencing a moment like that today where we want to establish a
frame work for how we can work together and build something extraordinary. We need to come together as a team, each of us contributing to the common goal and utilizing our own special talents while building up and encouraging our teammates, our care givers.
Second Principal: Wisdom is found in the counsel of many. And, when we consort with the foolish, we become foolish; whereas, when we
walk with the wise, we gain wisdom. No one individual is going to be the central repository of all knowledge. We need the input of all
members of the team to stay the course. But, choose wise counsel.
Third Principal: People suffer for lack of vision or hope. Everyone needs direction and vision. Therefore, it should be our goal to provide a vision of where we are going and how we are going to get there in creating a competitive campaign with desired outcomes.
Fourth Principal: Faith is the evidence of things hoped for, the assurance of things not seen. We must always be willing to stretch ourselves, to go beyond our comfort zone and to grow. For, if we are not growing, we are dying. So…. as vision and direction is presented,
based on the input of the team, we need to move forward with confidence that our efforts will yield success with a winning campaign.
Finally, the Fifth Principal: Seeds are sown in one season, while fruit is born in another season. We will initiate changes as a team for which we won’t necessarily see immediate results. We need to be patient visionaries, not anxious reactionaries.
