Another incredibly meaningful moment of recognition from this last week was our ability to attend the celebration of 2026 Leadership Erie County graduates: Lydia Bennett, Rhian Jones, and Morgan Messenheimer. These three wonderful leaders of Erie County chose Seeds of Empowerment (SOE) as their community-based project, creating beautiful awareness materials, securing wonderful prizes, and hosting our very first fundraiser, generating $2,700.00 in just a few weeks! Also, extending a heartfelt thank you to all who participated 🙏🏼
In addition to this, they secured a donated match; more information will follow. The money raised from this project helped support a prom-themed celebration for survivors and allies working with SOE and will also go towards a few upcoming community-based projects. We couldn’t be more appreciative or proud of their dedication, hard work, and compassion towards the critical importance of anti-trafficking work. We are excited to see what these three leaders of Erie County do next because, without any uncertainty, they have definitely helped plant seeds in the hearts of our team and all those we work with! Many thanks and sincere appreciation and congratulations to Rhian, Morgan, and Lydia ♥️🌱♥️
