Heather Ellison is an arborist specializing in the pruning and care of smaller trees and shrub

s. She is certified as a Municipal Arborist through the International Society of Arboriculture (Certification -AM), and has a Certificate in Landscape Horticulture from Merritt College in Oakland, CA. She has studied the art of Aesthetic Pruning extensively, and has taught many classes and workshops in Aesthetic Pruning, Pruning Basics, Young Tree Training, and Fruit Tree Pruning. In addition to working on privately-owned trees, she has pruned in several well-known public gardens, including Strybing Arboretum in San Francisco.
