We are here to let everyone know what the CMPP is doing as a project of Union Del Barrio and keeping to the CMPP to point platform which is:
1) We recognize that the United States is an illegal settler government that stole our land in 1848 and has oppressed our gente, therefore it has no right to judge or imprison the Mexicano people.

2) As colonized oppressed people, we are prisoners of this fo

reign system in our land, and we understand that most Raza in prison are political prisoners.

3) We understand that capitalism and colonialism are by their very nature breeders of crimes; therefore, if we are to eliminate crime, we must first eliminate capitalism and colonialism.

4) We understand that the prison industry has become a cornerstone of the U.S. (Need to add examples)

5) We understand that prisons are used specifically to neutralize liberation movements using new and existing laws with longer sentences as a way of eliminating threats to the capitalist/colonialist system.

6) We understand that the general white population and vendidos (neocolonialists) support the increasing number of prisons being built, as they benefit materially and socially from the incarceration of Raza and other oppressed people.

7) We must create a system where Mexicanos and Mexicanas accused of crimes can only be tried by revolutionary tribunals made up by and consisting of members of the national liberation movements.

8) We understand that the United States systematically imposed the illegal drug economy in our barrios and it is used to criminalize and lock down our gente.

9) We understand that the rapid incarceration rate of Raza women is part of the U.S. genocidal strategy to destroy our families and communities.

10) We recognize that the mass incarceration and criminalization of Raza Youth is another form of genocide.

“In these critical moments, we have to prioritize the well-being of our communities as we grow this social movement. That's why the Neighborhood Union has created a Digital People's Guide that outlines the best practices to move our fight forward in a strategic and safer way. ”

Help expose the lie of a “progressive” or “radical left” dominance of U.S. higher education. Say how the ongoing police repression of students is less about keeping campuses “safe” and more about defending the ongoing genocide in Gaza. Students, faculty, and staff will do well to remember this the next time your campus brings up “land acknowledgements,” “social justice,” and “diversity, equity, and inclusion.”

"Modern day slavery is alive and well even to this day and age. The prison industrial complex has been created to continue, the immense imprisonment which derives major investments and profitability from the punishment industry. Prisons do not disappear problems in fact what disappears are people, who have become the canon fodder of big business.

Prisons have become central to the U.S. economy. Cheap labor pools have existed in the capitalist system, prisons become a stimulant of the economy, providing jobs in corrections and cheap labor where racialized population prisoners are exploited workers.

Join us at this year's 25th Annual Chicano Mexicano Prison Project Conference to discuss the perpetual cycle of modern day slavery, prisons and how we can break the cycle."

Join Union del Barrio and its Chicano Mexicano Prison Project drive for stamps! This is to assist with the mailing of our newsletter into the prisons. This will also help us kickoff our Chicano Mexicano Prison Project 25th Annual Conference on Prisoners and Colonialism this summer 2023.

This is also done in commemoration and celebration of the life, work, and legacy of Union del Barrio and the Chicano Mexicano Prison Project's founder, Chairman, and ideological and political leader Camarada Ernesto Bustillos. "Neto" as the people knew and remember him left behind a heroic body of work and an example of revolutionary struggle for oppressed, colonized, and working class people.

We will be accepting stamp donations for our newsletter: "Las Calles y La Torcida" using the Venmo:
