This is a big win for bipartisan permitting reform! The Geothermal Energy Advancement Act will make it easier to build clean, cost-effective geothermal energy projects and lower electricity bills for Americans. This isn’t about left vs right. This is about working together to solve problems.

The legislation passed the House easily. It's unclear when or how the Senate will act on it.

Emerald from Rancho Bernardo needed help with a delayed grant that threatened layoffs at UCSD’s Biodynamics Lab. My staff worked with Emerald and the NIH to determine the cause of the grant’s delay and within a month, the lab received their full grant funding!
