County of San Diego Meth Strike Force The Substance Use Overdose Prevention Taskforce works to diminish meth impacts through prevention, recovery and enforcement. www.suopt.org

The San Diego County Board of Supervisors authorized the multi-disciplinary Methamphetamine Strike Force in 1996. The Meth Strike Force includes 70-member organizations and agencies, including local, state, and federal representatives from public health, law enforcement, judiciary, education, treatment, prevention, and intervention agencies. It's goal is to significantly reduce and/or eradicate the scourge of meth production, sale and use through prevention, treatment and enforcement.
