Today the fire service has lost a legend… It is with extreme sadness that we inform you that retired Fire Chief Doug Williams answered his final alarm today, Wednesday, October 16, 2024. Chief Williams dedicated his life to the fire service and community. He worked tirelessly to take care of his personnel and community members.

As we sound the last alarm in his honor, let us reflect on the countless lives he touched and the impact he made through his service. He began his Fire Service in 1972 at Rincon Valley Fire and retired as Fire Chief of Central Fire (Consolidation of Windsor Fire & Rincon Valley Fire) in 2015. Chief Williams not only led with strength but also inspired many to carry the torch of bravery and selflessness.

Rest easy, Chief. Your dedication will never be forgotten, and your spirit will always live on in the hearts of those you served.

Con extrema tristeza les informamos de que el Jefe de Bomberos jubilado Doug Williams ha respondido a su última alarma hoy, miércoles 16 de octubre de 2024. El Jefe Williams dedicó su vida al servicio de bomberos y a la comunidad. Trabajó incansablemente para cuidar de su personal y de los miembros de la comunidad.

Al sonar la última alarma en su honor, reflexionemos sobre las innumerables vidas que tocó y el impacto que tuvo a través de su servicio. Comenzo su servicio de bomberos en 1972 en Rincon Valley Fire y se jubilo como Jefe de Bomberos de Central Fire (Consolidacion de Windsor Fire & Rincon Valley Fire) en 2015. El Jefe Williams no solo lideró con fuerza, sino que también inspiró a muchos a llevar la antorcha de la valentía y la abnegación.
