What an incredible way to wrap up the year for TACRON 11!

We're thrilled to announce that the command gained 2 new qualified Sea Combat Air Controllers (SCAC). On top of that, 7 of our outstanding Sailors and Marines were awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (NAM). But the good news doesn't stop there - we also promoted 13 talented members of our team and revealed the 2024 Sailor and Blue Jacket of the Year awardees. We can't wait to see what next year holds for this amazing group of Sailors!

Welcome Home Peregrines!

TACRON 11 Detachment One, along with crews of the USS BOXER LHD 4 and the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, returned to Naval Base San Diego following a five-month deployment to U.S. 7th Fleet where they participated in a number of exercises with partner nations and provided foreign disaster relief.

For her exemplary performance at the United Nations Security Council Resolution Enforcement Coordination Cell at U.S. 7th Fleet, OS3 Miranda was awarded the Joint Service Achievement Medal. In this role, she coordinated critical surface and air operations that monitored illicit activities in the region. OS3 Miranda's outstanding contributions also earned her the distinction of CTG-1 and TACRON 11 Blue Jacket of the Quarter.

After serving 28 years in the US Navy, LCDR Parker retired. He began his career as an enlisted Submarine Navigation Electronics Technician and later transitioned to become a P3C Orion Naval Flight Officer. At the end of his service, LCDR Parker served as a Department Head and Assistant Officer in Charge at TACRON 11.
