That’s a wrap for the 2025-26 school year! Take a look at how some of our schools celebrated this last week:

At their Field Day event, RCSD Gates students played with a timeless favorite, the colorful parachute. ☀️

Staff and 5th-grade students rang RCSD Woodbridge's historic bell on the last day of school 🔔

Schools throughout RCSD invited their graduating seniors back to campus one last time before they step into their bright futures 🎓

Thank you, RCSD community, for helping to make this another extraordinary year.

Please join us in congratulating Misty Taft, Paraeducator (RCSD Spanger) and Jennifer Hall, Counselor (RCSD Kaseberg) for being selected as Placer County Employees of the Year! 👏

This year, Misty was one of 66 classified school employees from across the county nominated from their respective districts and charter school systems in nine categories. Nominees were judged on work performance, school community involvement, leadership and commitment.

You don’t have to travel the globe to see something amazing, just visit Eich Middle School’s cafeteria! 🌎

That’s where the school’s multilingual students hosted a Multicultural Fair, showcasing food, history, and other cultural traditions from around the world.

The event began with an announcement of students who scored a 4 on the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC), an important step toward reclassifying as Fluent English Proficient. Check out the first photo to see one student’s excited reaction to hearing her name called.

Congratulations to all the students who worked hard to make this an unforgettable experience!

History came to life this morning at RCSD Fiddyment Farm when 4th grade students transformed into the likes of Abraham Lincoln, Taylor Swift, Albert Einstein, Betsy Ross, and more. Students selected their own current or historical figure, researched their life and accomplishments, and wrote speeches to present to school and community visitors. Kudos to the staff, students, and families for such an informative and fun Wax Museum event!

Stoneridge celebrated its 25th Anniversary with a heartfelt evening featuring many former students and staff from its 25 years.

Hosting the evening was Principal Megan Spears. The school's first principal, Rebecca Toto, spoke about how the school started out small in portable buildings and then grew over its first few years. Teachers Robin Santos and Melissa Oxenham shared many of the special programs and traditions Stoneridge has had over the years, and former Principal Brandon Blom shared how staff helped shape the school's lasting legacy. Attendees celebrated with a dessert spread and enjoyed viewing past yearbooks, as well as the new mural celebrating 25 years.
