Before your child hops on their e-bike or scooter, make sure they RIDE SMART. 🚲
Safety is always our highest priority. Whether students are in the classroom, on the playground, or traveling to and from school, we want them to be safe, confident, and equipped to make responsible choices every step of the way.
As more students ride electric bikes, scooters, and other personal mobility devices to and from school, it is important that we work together to ensure they do so safely and responsibly. Many of the electric devices students are riding have age requirements, equipment requirements, or other legal restrictions under California law, and not every device is appropriate or legal for school-age riders.
To help educate students and families, RCSD has partnered with the City of Roseville and the Roseville Police Department to launch RIDE SMART Roseville, a community-wide safety initiative focused on helping students make informed, responsible decisions every time they ride.
