The children!

Children are very important to the holiday of Pesach. Why?

והגדת לבנך
“And you shall tell your child” (Exodus 13:8)

This commandment requires parents to retell the story of Yitziat Mitzrayim (the Exodus from Egypt) to their children on the holiday. The Pesach Seder ensures that the tradition is passed down generation to generation. The BMJLC Chocolate Seder is an ongoing tradition that emphasizes interactive, age-appropriate education, encouraging children to ask questions and receive answers.

Shabbat Shira x BMJLC 🥁🥁🥁

This week, our students decorated their own tambourines in honor of Parshat Beshalach, where Miriam leads the women of Bnei Yisrael in song and dance after Kriat Yam Suf 🌊🌊🌊

The splitting of the sea reminds us that we all face obstacles and when we find the courage to “split” our own seas, we uncover hidden strength and resilience within ourselves.
