Build a Fighting NALC members were out with our NALC branches across the country for the February 22 contract rallies raising our program for $30/hour starting wage, End Mandatory Overtime, All Career Workforce, Top Pay in Six Years, the Right to Strike, and more!

BFN led the fight for Open Bargaining in 2024, and has played a key role in making sure our national leadership has followed through on the contract campaign resolution. Closed door negotiations that keep the membership in the dark will not produce a strong contract. BFN calls for the need to mobilize the membership to build public support for our demands as negotiations being. February 22 rallies were just one step in the right direction.

BFN Twin Cities and Branch 9 members joined thousands of people in frigid cold in downtown Minneapolis today to demand ICE OUT OF MINNESOTA!

As long as ICE continues operations like these, they create a major safety hazard for letter carriers and the communities we serve. ICE makes delivery unsafe. End the occupation of Minnesota now!

We demand Justice for Renee Good, Alex Pretti, and all communities brutalized and terrorized by the ICE occupation of Minnesota.

BFN Twin Cities demands:
- ICE Out of Minnesota!
- Arrest and Convict all ICE agents involved in the killing of Renee Good and Alex Pretti!
- ICE Off Postal Property!

Build a Fighting NALC (BFN) is a rank and file reform caucus of NALC members fighting for $30/hour starting wage, an all career workforce, the Right to Strike, and more! If you’re a letter carrier and want to get involved in the fight to transform our union, DM us!

ALL OUT FOR FEBRUARY 22 CONTRACT RALLIES!

Build a Fighting NALC (BFN) has been calling for and organizing contract rallies on February 22 for several months. It’s good that national NALC leadership has taken up this call, but rank and file NALC members need to get organized to fight for the demands we need in the next contract.

BFN calls for:
- $30/hr Starting Wage
- All Career Workforce
- Top Pay in 6 Years
- End to Mandatory Overtime
- Right to Strike

We need all of this and more to fight for the contract rank and file letter carriers need.

We call on NALC members to raise these demands and more in speeches, on signs, banners, and in chants at February 22 rallies across the country. To put pressure on national leadership, and make it clear the rank and file is getting organized to fight for a strong contract.

Join postal workers and community supporters on Sunday, January 18 at 11am at the Lake Street Post Office to demand ICE OUT OF MN!

A month ago we rallied and marched to demand ICE Off Postal Property, after ICE agents were using postal parking lots to stage their operations in South Minneapolis.

Since then, the Trump administration has mobilized nearly 2,000 federal agents to the Twin Cities.

After the killing of Renee Good on January 7 by ICE agent Jonathan Ross protests have exploded in Minneapolis and across the country. The labor movement needs to join the fight, to end the occupation of Minneapolis and terror campaign against our immigrant communities.

We Demand:
- ICE OUT OF MN!
- Convict killer ICE agent Jonathan Ross!
- ICE Off Postal Property!
