PLEASE JOIN THE EFFORT TO RECOGNIZE THE 507TH MEDICAL COMPANY (AIR AMBULANCE) “LONE STAR DUSTOFF” WITH A UNIT TRIBUTE PLAQUE AT THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF THE UNITED STATES ARMY.
This fundraiser supports the National Museum of the United States Army by raising money for a Unit Tribute Plaque honoring and preserving the legacy of the 507th Medical Company (Air Ambulance), “Lone Star DUSTOFF.” All donations will support the Museum’s fundraising efforts. The fundraising goal for the plaque is $5,000, and once fully funded, it will be created and permanently memorialized.
Unit Tribute Plaques will line the Path of Remembrance leading to the Museum.

Brief Unit history:
The 507th Medical Company (Air Ambulance) activated in 1966, specializing in rapid aeromedical evacuation (DUSTOFF) with service in the Gulf War, and deployments in support of the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) where the unit was highly decorated for heroic service in combat. Unit citations include the prestigious Presidential Unit Citation (PUC) and Navy Unit Commendation (NUC) for extraordinary and exceptional heroism. During peacetime, the 507th was heavy engaged in the Military Assistance to Safety and Traffic (MAST) mission for three decades in support of civilian emergencies, saving thousands of lives.
The 507th Medical Company (Air Ambulance) inactivated on 16 June 2005 and re-flagged as C Company 2-4, 4th Combat Aviation Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, CO.
