This week the Defense Institute for Medical Operations (DIMO) said farewell to Lt Col Sylvia Kim this past Wednesday.

Lt Col Kim served as DIMO’s Administrator and Resource Manager for over 2 years. She’s a Medical Service Corps Officer in the US Air Force. She also worked as a French interpreter for the Language Enabled Airman Program (LEAP). Lt Col Kim’s international training and Readiness background, has greatly contributed to the success of DIMO. She applied her talents to DIMO’s mobile training courses, in-resident courses, assisted with curriculum development and course planning. Her contributions to DIMO have solidified and promoted security cooperation throughout the world.

Lt Col Kim is a true “Wingman, Leader, and Warrior”; Fair Winds and Following Seas, Lt Col Sylvia Kim!
