We are proud to celebrate another incredible milestone from one of our outstanding alumni!

After previously earning the Vaquero Hall Resident Recognition Award, Makayla Garcia continues to raise the bar. This semester, she earned a spot on the President's List once again while successfully balancing an impressive 10 college courses.

As if that wasn't enough, Makayla recently traveled to Lima, Peru, where she is participating in a clinical experience through MedLife, shadowing doctors and mentors while gaining hands-on insight into the medical field. She will return home this week with valuable experiences that will continue to shape her journey toward a career in healthcare.

From serving as a student leader and Luminary Scholar at Jubilee Brownsville to excelling in college and pursuing opportunities around the world, Makayla continues to embody the determination, leadership, and excellence we strive to cultivate in all Jubilee students.
