🧪🍦 SCIENCE + ICE CREAM = ONE SWEET MORNING! 🍦🧪

We were so excited to welcome KSAT 12 & KSAT.com Science with Sarah Spivey to campus yesterday and our Mustangs were READY for some seriously cool science!

A huge shoutout to our amazing 3rd Grade Teacher, Mrs. Peña, for making this incredible opportunity happen! 👏✨ Our 3rd grade Mustangs got their moment in the spotlight as they were featured on the morning news while learning, experimenting, and having SO much fun making ice cream from scratch with Mrs. Spivey! 🍨🔬

From mixing ingredients to watching science turn into a delicious treat, our students got to see firsthand that science is EVERYWHERE, even in our ice cream! 🤩🧪
And of course, our staff couldn’t resist joining in on the fun too! 😂🍦 It was smiles, laughter, learning, and a whole lot of sweet science all morning long!

Thank you, Mrs. Spivey, for bringing science to life at Montgomery! And thank you, Mrs. Peña, for helping make this unforgettable experience possible! 🌟

Friday’s Mustang Round-Up was extra special as we celebrated TWO incredible members of our Montgomery family!

✨ Paraprofessional, Ms. Carrizales!
With 5 years at Montgomery, Ms. Carrizales has dedicated herself to supporting our students and helping them shine! Her peers recognize her for being actively involved with students throughout the day, always ready to lend a helping hand, and especially for the wonderful support she provides in our Kindergarten classrooms.

✨ Steps Teacher, Mrs. Stanton!
As our first-year Steps Re-Direct teacher, Mrs. Stanton has already made such an incredible impact on our campus! She has brought wonderful structure and consistency to our Steps classroom, and her peers have noticed just how hard she has worked during these first few weeks of school. Her amazing skills, dedication, and ability to greet each day with warmth and a smile make her such a wonderful addition to our Mustang family!

🎉🐴 What an AMAZING first week back, Mustangs! 🐴🎉

Our hearts are so full seeing the excitement of a brand-new school year throughout our hallways! It has been incredible watching our Mustangs jump right in, work hard, learn, grow, and start the 2026–2027 school year off strong and it's only week one! ⭐📚

We are also so inspired by our amazing teachers and staff who have been working hard to make sure every student feels welcomed, supported, and ready for a successful year. Their dedication, energy, and commitment to our students are truly what make Montgomery such a special place!

🏆 MISS ALOUMARI ESC REGION 20 TEACHER OF THE YEAR🏆

We are SO proud of our amazing 5th grade teacher, Miss Aloumari, for being named Region 20 Teacher of the Year!🎉👏

There was so much Mustang Pride as we watched Miss Aloumari grace the stage at our Roosevelt Cluster Convocation to receive this incredible honor. What a special moment for our Montgomery family! ❤️💙

Miss Aloumaris’ passion, dedication, and heart make a lasting impact on her students every day. We are thrilled that she will now represent elementary teachers at the next level Teacher of the Year! ⭐️

✨ Meet the Teacher Night was AMAZING! ✨

Today was such a special evening at Montgomery Elementary! There is just something magical about seeing our Mustangs back in the hallways with their families. Seeing their smiling faces, hearing their excitement, and feeling their energy as they returned to school reminded us all over again just how special our school community is. ❤️

Watching our families connect, meet teachers, visit classrooms, and simply be together made our hearts so full. There is nothing quite like the feeling of our Mustang community coming together! 🐴💙

A HUGE Mustang shoutout to Mr. James Garcia and his family for their incredibly generous donation of a class set of school supplies for Mrs. Urista’s first-grade class!📚✏️ Your kindness and support mean so much and is such a beautiful example of what makes our Mustang family so amazing!

Tonight was just a little glimpse of what’s to come, and we couldn’t be more excited! 🎉

🍝💙 A Heartfelt Thank You to the Fowlks Law Firm!💙🍝

We are so grateful to our wonderful Montgomery community for showing up and supporting our teachers! Earlier this week, our former Mustang, Mr. Justin Fowlks of Fowlks Law Firm, generously sponsored an Olive Garden luncheon for our incredible Mustang staff. He was joined by his wife, Barbara M. Fowlks, and mother, as well as the lead paralegal from his office, making the afternoon even more special.

As if a delicious lunch wasn’t enough, the Fowlks Law Firm also brought Amazon gift cards to share with several of our teachers as they prepare their classrooms and get ready to welcome students back for another amazing school year. 🎁📚✨

We are incredibly grateful for community partners like the Fowlks Law Firm who continue to invest in our school and our educators. There is something so special about seeing one of our former Mustangs come back and give back to the school community that helped shape him.
