Dear School Social Workers,
Welcome back!
We hope you had a wonderful summer and are ready for another school year. As the new school year begins, everyone at Adopt A Needy Family (AANF) is excited to get our program started again — and, most importantly, excited to work with you.
We want you to know how much we appreciate the role you play in the lives of your students and their families. We understand that your job is about much more than paperwork or making referrals. You are often the person a child turns to when they are struggling, the person who recognizes when a family needs a little extra help, and the person who finds a way to make sure no child feels forgotten. That is why you are such an important part of AANF.
We can provide the program and find generous sponsors, but you are the ones who help us identify the families who need us most. Together, we can turn someone's difficult holiday season into one filled with hope, dignity, and the feeling that someone truly cares.
As we prepare for the upcoming AANF program, we would like to confirm who will be the primary contact person for AANF at your school this year. If that is still you, please let us know. If another social worker or staff member will be coordinating the program, we would greatly appreciate having their name and contact information.
We are already working behind the scenes to prepare for this year's program, and we are hoping to make it our best year yet. With your help, we know it can be.
Every family we help has a story. Every child we reach is a reminder of why we do what we do. And behind every successful family we help is someone like you who took the time to care enough to say, "This family needs some help."
Thank you for everything you do — not only for AANF, but for the children and families you serve every day. We are truly grateful to have you as our partners.
Welcome back, and let's make this another incredible year together!
With sincere appreciation,
Alejandro Calderon
