Bexar Greens cochair and Indigenous organizer Antonio Diaz spoke at the 5 March city council meeting in opposition to the proposed ICE detention center on the eastside of San Antonio. We demand that city council use any means necessary to oppose this ICE facility.

Turnout in the primary was 22.4% in Bexar county. That means that 1,004,962 voters did NOT vote and are still eligible to vote Green on March 10 at our nominating conventions.

It's a pilot program. VIA directors are making assertions about safety and cost without actually testing anything or determining whether those concerns are legitimate. Public transit is public infrastructure and making VIA fare free is worth trying.
