Today, we commemorate the lives lost and forever changed on September 11, 2001.

We honor the courage of the first responders who ran toward danger, the strength of survivors who faced unimaginable loss, and the unity that brought a nation together in resilience and hope.

For our Airmen and Guardians, 9/11 is a reminder of why we dedicate ourselves to service: to defend our nation, lead with integrity, and stay vigilant in defense of freedom.
