🚧 Ric on the Road is back! 🚧

A big win for the Community Workers Council Neighborhood Association! 🙌

For years, residents asked for traffic calming measures in their neighborhood. Together with our District 6 team, neighbors gathered signatures, worked through the process, and now the project is complete.

💙 This is what community engagement looks like: residents getting involved, our team helping move projects forward, and real results that lead to slower traffic and safer streets.

District 6 residents, if you have any medical equipment that you would like to donate stop by on Saturday 13th at the Hobby Lobby Parking lot.

Project MEND + San Antonio Spurs + Community Fans = WINNING TEAM!
Dust off your used wheelchairs, walkers, rollators, & scooters and go honking this Saturday to our collection drive at the Wonderland of the Americas. Drop off any gently used medical equipment to help give it a second life for individuals in need across our community. Can't make the collection drive, KSAT 12 & KSAT.com will host a live, televised phone bank 8 a.m.–7 p.m. June 11.

District 6, help us congratulate another resident who has stepped up to be part of the change!
This month, we appointed Nydia Young to represent District 6 on the San Antonio Youth Commission.

Nydia is a rising junior at Construction Careers Academy with a passion for engineering and problem-solving. Through the ACE Mentorship Program and the UTSA Pre-Freshman Engineering Program, she has worked alongside industry professionals and developed projects focused on addressing real-world challenges.

We're excited to see her represent District 6 and help shape the future of our city. Congratulations, Nydia! 💛

Pride Month is a time to celebrate the contributions, history, and resilience of the LGBTQIA+ community while continuing the work of creating a city where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and safe.

Happy Pride Month, San Antonio! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
