Following Friday’s storm, the San Antonio Food Bank has launched its disaster relief efforts, providing food to residents impacted across our city. I want to extend a huge thank you to all of the workers and volunteers who have shown up to help our neighbors in this time of need. I was able to volunteer some time for onsite distribution and I encourage you to do the same! The SA Food Bank is in need of volunteers throughout the week, to sign up, please visit the link in our bio.

Our office was excited to kick off the school year with Northside ISD and Edgewood ISD with backpack and school supply donations. A huge shoutout to our public school partners who assisted in distributing these critical supplies to students across District 6!

We also had the honor of welcoming back students to Stafford Visual & Performing Arts Elementary alongside district leaders, including Superintendent of EISD, Dr. Hernandez. We are excited for this school year and can’t wait to continue working with our public schools!
