The Bexar County Sheriff’s Foundation is dedicated to bridging the gap between law enforcement and the community we serve. As a fund overseen by the San Antonio Area Foundation, every dollar donated goes directly toward enhancing public safety and supporting our deputies in ways the standard budget cannot.

Your contributions help fund:
• Essential Safety Equipment: Providing life-saving gear like specialized K9 vests and tactical equipment.
• Youth & Educational Programs: Supporting the BCSO Public Safety Recruits to mentor the next generation of law enforcement.
• Advanced Training: Ensuring our deputies have access to the latest specialized tactics and mental health resources.
• Community Outreach: Strengthening the bond between residents and the Sheriff’s Office through local safety initiatives.

💙 Bexar County Sheriff’s Foundation | Community Partner Spotlight 💙

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Foundation is honored to recognize Harris Dailey Wells Communication and Landon Ridge Alamo Ranch Assisted Living for their generous financial support of programs that directly benefit the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office and the community we serve.

Donations to the Foundation help fund youth outreach and mentoring programs that guide and inspire our next generation, provide critical protective gear for our K9 units who serve on the front lines, and purchase traditional cowboy hats for graduating cadets, honoring their hard work, commitment, and proud Bexar County heritage. Funds also support other essential initiatives that enhance public safety and strengthen the bond between law enforcement and the community.

The mission of the Bexar County Sheriff's Foundation is to empower members of the community and law enforcement to work together proactively to keep Bexar County safe.

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Foundation was proud to sponsor the 2023 July birthday party at Boysville.

This is the second year that the Sheriff’s Foundation and the Bexar County Sheriff's Office host a birthday party for the children at Boysville who have their birthdays in the month of July. The Sheriff’s Foundation assisted greatly by sponsoring food, presents, birthday cakes, entertainment, and piñata’s for those celebrating their birthday.

Sheriff Javier Salazar along with SCORE Deputies, Mounted Patrol, SWAT, Recruiting, and cadets had an amazing time this year.

Thank you Bexar County. Sheriff Salazar's 2nd Annual Rodeo Breakfast was a success! We gave away 6,000 tacos and had about 2,500 people in attendance.
