Hunter Holliday Republican for Salem City Council My name is Hunter Holliday. I'm a proud US Army veteran with 36 years of service, a Salem native, and the only Republican nominee for Salem City Council.

I will fight for lower taxes, better infrastructure, new jobs, and transparency of City Council.

Salem City Councilman Hunter Holliday host's Coffee with Council every month in the Salem Library Community Room. Going into it's eighth month it has connected over 150 Salem citizens directly with members of Salem City Council, City Administrators, and Directors.

The goal of Coffee with Council is to foster open, honest dialogue about the issues that matter most to Salem residents. Whether it's public safety, infrastructure, economic development, or quality-of-life concerns, these gatherings provide an accessible and informal space to ask questions, share ideas, and stay informed.

Upcoming Citizen Forums:

Thursday, April, 16th 6:00 - 7:30 guests include Councilwoman Anne Marie Green and Salem City Manager Chris Dorsey.

Thursday, May, 14th 6:00 - 7:30 guests include Councilman John Saunders, Director of Parks & Recreation John Shaner, Interim- Director of the Salem Electric Department Kevin Divers.

All events will be held at the Salem Public Library Community Room.

All Salem residents are encouraged to attend, enjoy a cup of coffee, pastry and be part of the conversation shaping our city's future.

SALEM SPARTANS SET TO OPEN PLAYOFFS - THURSDAY NIGHT
The opening round playoff game for the Salem Spartans will now take place this Thursday night instead of Friday at Salem Stadium. The move should allow the contest to be completed before tropical rain arrives in the region on Friday.
