Downtown Waterfront Parks Foundation, Inc. The mission of the Waterfront Parks Foundation is to preserve, protect and promote the historic waterfront parks of St. Petersburg.

Petersburg, Florida to ensure their future for the enjoyment of residents and visitors. This Foundation will not be a regulatory board or a Parks overseer, but rather a
volunteer group which will provide opportunities for supplemental funding for upgraded
maintenance and capital improvements solely for the Downtown Waterfront Parks
system. This Foundation will operate similarly to the Pioneer Park

Foundation Board,
which has acted for many years as a support to the City in the ongoing care of Pioneer
Park, a place where we honor the Founders of St.

Thank You! We enjoyed the OSNA · Old Southeast Neighborhood Association 3rd Annual VFW Day of Service Cleanup this morning in Lassing Park!
It also celebrated our successful Lassing Park Living Shoreline Restoration Project, in partnership with the City of St. Petersburg, Tampa Bay Watch, Keep Pinellas Beautiful, and the Old Southeast Neighborhood.
We had additional support from the Frank Pierce Recreation Center Teen Program and youth volunteers from McMullen Fish House and Waterfront Parks Foundation, Captain Rick Radigan of Tampa Bay Watch provided cleanup guidance for the newly reclaimed shoreline area.

From flooding to future-ready 🌿

A refreshed Flora Wylie Park is now better equipped to handle heavy rain thanks to major drainage and regrading improvements by the City of St. Petersburg, Florida's Parks & Recreation team.

These upgrades help reduce standing water, protect trees and turf, and improve long-term storm resilience.

Join Us for a Day of Service at Lassing Park 🌿

On May 2nd, we will hold the 3rd Annual VFW Day of Service Cleanup!

This event is part of the Veterans of Foreign Wars VFW’s national Day of Service initiative, which unites veterans across America around a common goal — showing the nation the impact veterans make in their communities.

This cleanup event also celebrates our successful Lassing Park Living Shoreline Restoration Project, in partnership with the City of St. Petersburg, Tampa Bay Watch, and the Old Southeast Neighborhood.
