Fall Family Day & Trunk or Treat at Camp Sinawa are this Saturday, October 10th from approximately 11 til 2. Please note that Trunk or Treat begins at noon and will run til 2 unless candy runs out earlier.

Join the American Legion 477 family for a day of community fun and one of our favorite annual events. Wear your favorite costume, decorate your vehicle and hand out treats or bring your entire family to enjoy all the festivities of Fall Family Day!

Family Day includes big trucks, birds of prey, hikes, a scavenger hunt, and a petting zoo. Raffle tickets, food and beverages are available for purchase. Family Day is $5 per person or $20 for carload. If volunteering at the Trunk or Treat, there is no cost.

If your vehicle is part of Trunk or Treat, we recommend arriving early to secure a spot & setup. The road to the clearing will close at approximately 11:30. You'll enter on the west trail near the red warming shack.

We can't wait to see your creative costumes and decorated vehicles. Let's make this year's Trunk or Treat the best one yet!

Discussion: Membership, District Fall Conference, County Veterans Banquet, and Youth Government Day.

There's still time to join the American Legion 477 (St Nazianz) team as we walk to bring awareness to Veteran Suicides. Every step honors those who served and reminds our Community that no Veteran walks alone.

Date: Saturday November 7, 2026
Step off: 8 am
Route: Begin at the Snow Rangers building in Plymouth walking along the Old Plank Trail to Kohler and return
How you can participate: Walk with or without a ruck - go at your own pace! Take on the full 17.5 miles or turn-around at whatever distance works for you.

Post 477 is paying all team registrations, so there's no cost to joining us. You do not need to be a Legion Family member, this is open to anyone in the community. Just two weeks remain to submit your National Basic Training certificate for a chance to win one of two $50 gift cards.

The incentive is open to all 6th District WI American Legion Family members (Legion, ALA SAL).

Find the course at: https://register.legion.org/alei. Upon completion of the course, download your certificate, and submit it to Nancy @ [email protected].

The window closes on the 18th of October. For those who took the course previously, you can go to: https://register.legion.org/alei to print your certificate. The course was updated in 2022, but you can retake the exam for an updated certificate. Only those completed since 1 January 2022 will be included in the drawing which is at the 6th District Legion Conference on October 25th.

A huge thank you who to everyone who came out and showed their support for our very first Veterans Coffee this morning! We were pleasantly surprised by the number of attendees. We had great coffee, the conversations were engaging, and the camaraderie of fellow Veterans is always special.

We also want to send a special note of appreciation to Eric @ Meat's Opera Haus for hosting and providing such a great gathering space.

We look forward to seeing everyone at our next Veterans Coffee on Friday 6 November at the Village Bakery in Valders beginning at 8:30.
