The Park-A-Palooza wouldn't be the same without our great Youth Alliance volunteers! Every year, these kids come out and help us set up and break down, work with the kids at the craft station, pop popcorn and spin cotton candy at the concession stand and work at many other stations all throughout the event! They are an inspiration and we want to say THANK YOU!!

What is a PARK-A-PALOOZA?

For the 5th year, Friends of Krug Park is hosting its annual Park-A-Palooza on June 6th from 11-2 at the Northside Complex (where the pool used to be)! For those who don't know what that means, let me tell you!

Park-A-Palooza is a family event with free activities for kids of all ages! Supplies are donated by FKP team members, and stations are manned by volunteers and our partners. For 3 hours, kids can make a take-home craft, release their creativity with sidewalk chalk, get a free balloon animal from our balloon artist, play sports games sponsored by Special Olympics, meet all the adorable animals at the petting zoo, and see the incredible 'spider circus' display sponsored by Missouri Conservation Dept.

We will also have Vogel's, Skool Bus Ice Cream, and The Soda Lab for our food vendors, $5 pony rides, and a concession stand with $1 popcorn, $1 canned soda and $1 cotton candy!

FKP is an all-volunteer, donation-funded organization dedicated to bringing families into the park for inexpensive events that won't break a busy parent's bank. We want to ensure that future generations have happy memories of their childhood there.

This year, the Palooza will be held at the Northside Complex due to construction in the park, so come and see us. Load up the van, bring all the kiddos and have some fun!
