My desire to run for School Board is driven by my commitment to transparency, accountability, and the well-being of students, families, and staff within the district. My wife and I have lived in this amazing community for nine years. We ha
ve four children and five grandchildren, and are happily anticipating the arrival of our 6th grandchild in March. We have been dedicated foster parents in Columbia County. I hold a business degree from college and currently serve as a Senior Construction Manager, where I oversee the building of fiber networks in various cities. My role involves working closely with municipalities for permitting and restoration efforts. I have seen firsthand experience with the challenges and strengths of the local education system as the parent of four children, two of whom are still at home. I believe our students, families, and staff are incredible, but they have been underserved for far too long. We must ensure a safe, supportive, and accountable school environment where learning thrives. Our schools should be places where students feel safe, teachers feel supported, and parents feel heard and I am committed to ensuring our district prioritizes education, safety, and accountability.
