The Yard Waste Facility located off Juve Road and Forest Lane is closed EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY due to abuse of the premises. Until such time as the Town Board identifies steps to curb this abuse, the site will remain closed. Pictures supporting this decision are included in this posting showing some of the identified issues.

INDEPENDENCE DAY EVENT - PARADE FORM

It's hard to believe but the Town of St. Germain Independence Day event scheduled for Sunday, June 28 is coming up fast! The Independence Day Committee is looking for organizations who would like to participate in this year's Independence Day Event parade.

2025 was a great year for participation so let's meet or beat that number!

April 20, 2026 Update

*Please be advised, all recycling vouchers have been claimed by residents, as of April 20, 2026. However, last week, I requested additional recycling vouchers from Vilas County Zoning & Planning, and the Clerk’s Office should receive them later this week. If you request them, please be patient for their arrival and/or for a date to pick them up.*

2026 Recycling Amnesty Program

St. Germain property owners may participate in the 2026 Recycling Amnesty Program for recycling of appliances, electronics, tires, and other qualifying items that are taken to Republic Services, at 208 Jack Frost Street, Eagle River.

Cost reduction vouchers have a maximum limit of $15. There is a limit of 2 vouchers per household per year. The vouchers expire 60 days from the issued date.
