Democratic gubernatorial nominee Amy Acton's "ActOn Lowering Costs" agenda would deliver a $1,778 annual tax cut to a Tiffin family of four earning $60,000, built around a refundable earned income credit and a child tax credit — tools with independent research backing, one of which Republican Gov. On June 6th, 1944, roughly 160,000 Allied soldiers, including 73,000 Americans, landed on the beaches of Normandy in France to liberate Western Europe of Fascism. Today, 82 years later, we remember the bravery and sacrifices of that day. May they rest in peace. Let us never forget.
