I was so excited to volunteer for this year’s Historic House tour in Elgin- a view into some amazing homes, spotlighting all of the love and care that goes into them. And the proceeds help fund grants to support maintenance and rehab for all of the historic homes in Elgin.  A great event all around! Thank you to all of the homeowners who shared their beautiful homes.

A truly great Judge and human being.  He served well and will be deeply missed. He was an example of how to always choose kindness. 

The Kane County Bar Foundation extends our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Judge William Parkhurst.

Kane County Associate Judge William Parkhurst died Aug. 16 from cancer. Those close to Parkhurst say he was best known for his kindness, smiles and overall humble demeanor.
