Johns County is an organization that offers free resources to the community to build mental wellness and reduce risks of alcohol/ substance misuse and/or addiction. Johns County that brings together different sectors of the community to address the issue of underage substance abuse. To be successful, a coalition should include members from the following disciplines: youth, parents, education, busi

ness, government, faith-based, media, law enforcement, substance abuse/mental health providers, youth serving agencies, healthcare, civic/volunteer groups, and any community resident who is interested in making St.

New research shows parental cannabis use is rising rapidly in the U.S., with millions of children now living in households where cannabis is used regularly. Daily cannabis use among parents is now more common than daily alcohol use.

As cannabis use becomes more normalized, continued research and education on family and child well-being remain important.
