GRANDs Day was a wonderful opportunity to share a meal with Grandparents, Relatives, Aunts & Uncles, Neighbors, and Devoted Caregivers!
We are grateful to spend the time together on Patriot Day as we were able to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001 and pay tribute to our first responders 🇺🇸

Our Kindergarten Cowboys wrapped up our first Knowledge Unit on Nursery Rhymes and Fables with some retell fun! The students chose their poem, created their puppets, practiced, then peformed for the class. 🎉

Today first grade wrapped up their Fables and Folktale unit. Kids got to create their own Fable, and compete in Fable Olympics as we shared all that we have learned this unit.

Second grade ended their fairy tale and tall tale unit by making a colossal pancake fit for Paul Bunyan! Students became giants and got to see what it would be like to eat breakfast as Paul Bunyan. We also connected making pancakes to science, talking about physical and chemical changes in matter.
