Residents of Rancho Cordova, and Mather areas, Sean Frame is running for Senate in your area and it would be great to get involved with his campaign by canvassing for him. Check out his website to learn more about him.

Let’s knock on doors and get our neighbors ready to vote! Join me this Saturday for a joint canvass with Congressman Mike Thompson at noon, and Neva Parker for State Assembly. Every conversation is a chance to listen, connect, and earn someone’s vote.

We all know that Sept. 11th, 2001 was a tragic, horrific, and shocking day. From this point on, we do what we can to honor the brave firefighters, emergency responders etc... who attempted to rescue others. We also honor those that lost their lives.
In Loving memory.......

We all know that the orange idiot and the GOP suck.
If you are frustrated with what’s happening in Washington, Get involved.

If you want different leadership, elections are where that change happens. There are plenty of ways to help, even if you only have a little time.

You can knock on doors, make phone calls, send texts, write postcards, register voters, help with voter protection, donate, or volunteer for candidates and organizations you support.

And don’t just focus on the White House or Congress. Pay attention to state legislatures, county offices, city councils, school boards, and other local races. Those elections matter too.

Not sure where to start? Go to Mobilize.us and search for volunteer opportunities. You can find in-person and virtual events across the country, including canvassing, phone banking, text banking, postcard writing, and other ways to participate.

If you’re in California, another important way to help is through the CADEM Voter Protection Program. They are recruiting hotline operators, poll monitors, and volunteer attorneys. Hotline operators answer voter questions, poll monitors observe at vote centers and polling places, and volunteer attorneys are on call to respond to voting-related issues. CADEM also says bilingual and multilingual volunteers are especially important, including Spanish speakers.

You can learn more and sign up here:

Turn frustration into action. Pick something you can do and get involved.

Your first True-Up bill (or heck, your fifth or your tenth!) can be confusing. In fact, this is probably the thing we get asked about most often. The Solar Rights Alliance Consumer Guide is here to help: https://solarrights.org/consumerguide/

Everyone......get out there and Vote in the November election!

Congress has six years to determine the future of Social Security for millions of Americans.

This November, elect members who you trust to protect your hard-earned benefits and not hand your money over to billionaires and Wall Street CEOs.

The healthcare and mental health professionals you’ve seen picketing at Kaiser and Sutter are sending a message: our healthcare and mental health professionals need support. Especially with our crisis poised to get worse before it gets better with Trump’s cruel cuts.

Our health comes first. People come first. Acting otherwise is not only wrong but more expensive for our state long-term. NUHW Healthcare Union members know that firsthand and fight every day to have our healthcare systems reflect those values and our reality. When I’m elected, I will join them in that fight.
