Hot coals can start fires in garbage trucks and sorting facilities. To stay safe:
• Let coals cool overnight, OR
• Soak them for at least 20 minutes before disposal

Reminder: propane tanks and lighter fluid should NEVER go in the garbage.

Trucks & Such Summer Food Truck Series Kicks Off TONIGHT!

Join us for another exciting season of Trucks & Such at Garcia Bend Park! Hosted by Councilmember Rick Jennings, this family-friendly event series brings the community together for evenings filled with delicious food trucks, fun, and connection at the park. Mark your calendars for May 15, June 19, July 17, August 21, and September 18 from 5–8 PM at Garcia Bend Park (7654 Pocket Road).

A special thank you to ACC Senior Services for their partnership and continued support in helping make these community events possible. Their dedication to serving Sacramento residents helps create welcoming spaces where neighbors can gather, connect, and enjoy time together.
