The Pleasant Grove Neighborhood Association (PGNA) is happy to announce the 2024 Christmas Lighting Contest award winners. We have been celebrating our residentsโ€™ beautiful neighborhood decorations for many years now. We try not to award the same homeowners each year. Our neighbors have decorated with colored, traditional lights, as well as modern running lights, wood cutouts, inflatables, wreaths, mangers, trees, creativity, and splendor. This yearโ€™s standouts are:
Bill and Shelli Auger of 1627 Misty Wood Drive, original owner, shared a taste of a traditional Christmas with their Classic Look, a study in white. They lit up their second story, hung wreaths, encased windows and bushes in lights. Snowmen stand on each side of the porch with deer grazing in front.
The Moscatelli Family, Pete, Sonia, and Zoe, of 1513 Brook Park, impressed us with their Color, their colorful arches leading up to the front door, handmade trees built on candy-cane-striped A-frames, each boasting a different color, small candy canes atop the retaining wall, and a small red truck inviting visitors to have a Merry Christmas.
James, Jennifer, and Jessica Collender of 1557 Misty Wood Drive wowed us with their Creative Snowy Scene sporting wire icicle lights, red and green rail lights, red running lights on the garage. Blue lights run along the grass to depict an icy winter pond. Red and white cooored lights run down the chimney in blinking diagonal pattern as if dripping, anxiously waiting for Santa.
Happy holidays to your families from PGNA: Laxmi, Shelley, Sharon, and Manny.
