The California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) is excited to partner with National College Resources Foundation (NCRF) to offer a wonderful opportunity for students and their parents to learn how to prepare for college and what it takes to attend college, stay in college and graduate. In addition, students and parents can apply for financial aid right on-site. Please help us spread the word to students and parents and secure school district busses to join us at the 1st Annual Sacramento Black College Expo on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 9:00am – 5:00pm at Sacramento State, 6000 J Street, Sacramento, CA 90019. Please see attached flyer.
The Expo will help African American students experience the various opportunities available for them to attend higher education and qualify for financial aid. Students will be able to learn the latest information about applying for federal, state, campus-based student aid and scholarships; speak to over 25 college and university representatives from across the country, including Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs); attend free seminars; and, apply for financial aid. Please note that although the Sacramento Black College Expo 2018 is an event for African American families, it is open to all students regardless of their background or ethnicity.
