ton Unified School District. To meet this mission we will:

Promote and facilitate the use of instructional technology in support of skillful teaching and rigorous and engaging learning in all district schools so that all children develop the knowledge and skills necessary for success in college or post-secondary career-technical education. Support the development of 21st century literacy, numeracy, Common Core State Standards implementation through the use of digital tools. Provide effective technology support for audio/visual, computer, multimedia, voice, video, and web-based applications and services to all areas of the district. Develop, enhance, and manage the district's Wide-Area-Network (WAN) to provide high speed, transparent, and highly functional connectivity among all information resources. Develop and maintain highly effective, reliable, secure, and innovative information systems to support instructional, administrative and research functions. Facilitate the collection, storage, security and integrity of electronic data while ensuring appropriate access. Provide leadership for effective strategic planning and implementation of technology. Provide fast and reliable access to all information systems.
