Yesterday, I had the privilege of introducing my last piece of legislation on the Assembly Floor. 
 
I came to Sacramento with a clear mission: to fight for common-sense solutions and serve with integrity. Along this journey, I have had the honor of working with some truly remarkable individuals whose dedication to public service has inspired me.
 
With every committee vote and every moment on the Assembly Floor, I carried with me the trust and confidence placed in me by my constituents. Representing the community I have proudly called home for more than 40 years has been the honor of a lifetime.

I will continue to serve Assembly District 72 through December 2026. I’m still working hard to fight for you!

The House of Origin deadline is today, which means that all bills introduced in their house of origin, the Assembly or Senate, had to be passed out of their respective houses. Legislators were voting on hundreds of bills in Floor Session, late into the night, in order to meet this deadline. I have voted on almost 400 individual pieces of legislation, and I am pleased that four of my bills passed through the Assembly floor this week and are now in the Senate.

I introduced an aggressive legislative package this year that targets government transparency, tackles fraud, protects victims' rights, improves wildfire response and reforms the California State Bar. I am pleased to see this success, and I will continue to fight for the residents of Orange County.

The fight to clean our waterways has only just begun. is leading the charge to keep our environment and families healthy.

The spraying of these deadly chemicals has gone on for far too long, but together, we can end it. I encourage you to find a way to get involved and raise your voice.

I will keep you updated as I continue my work with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife to improve Orange County’s ecosystem.

The coyote population is increasing. Please stay vigilant to protect yourself and your pets.

I am pleased to see that after months of public outcry, Orange County Public Works has taken the first steps in remedying this situation by announcing a temporary ban on the use of herbicides. However, it is still crucial that the public be informed of all pesticide use, as herbicides are only one type of pesticide, and that any use of pesticides is well regulated, safely administered, and that the allegations of misuse are investigated thoroughly and promptly.
